Phil Walker and Doug Taylor's blossoming  partnership in attack provided the impetus behind Sun Postal Sports' comfortable progression into the third round.
Walker struck first in the 12th minute, his predatory instincts helping him to his sixth goal in the last seven matches.
Then goal-scorer turned goal-provider on the stroke of half time.
Walker split St Peters' defence with an intelligent through-ball, and Taylor's finish was immaculate.
St Peters rarely threatened to impose any sustained pressure on Sun, whose domination of the match was not fairly reflected in the 2-0 scoreline.
It was a stylish and assured victory by Sun, with Walker and Taylor in majestic form.
