Sun Postal Sports Reserves booked their place in the reserve Cup Final after holding on to defeat Oxhey Jets Reserves 3-2 in the semi-final.
Jimmy Harrison opened Sun's account with the first of a double strike but by half time Jets had pulled level at 1-1.
Deon Osbourne restored Sun's lead with a spectacular overhead kick but Jets reduced the score to 3-2 with 20 minutes remaining.
Sun's nerves could have been eased had Wayne Gladdy's strike counted - but the referee ruled the goal out after the ball had burst through the side netting.
Fortunately for Sun, it did not cost them their place in the final where they will meet Codicote or Colney Green.
