Two of the challengers at the head of affairs shared the spoils as Met Police Bushey and Sun Sports drew 2-2.
Twice Bushey came from behind, leaving spokesman Jim Howard to reflect: "If we'd taken our chances we probably could, and should have won.
Sun were ahead after 12 minutes, Andy Wood's shot was parried by police keeper Trevor Turnbull but Doug Taylor turned the rebound in with the police claiming handball.
The equaliser arrived only nine minutes later and in some style, Renny Grant curling home a free kick from 30 yards.
Twelve minutes into the second half, Turnbull did well to parry after his defence went to sleep but Phil Walker tucked the loose ball away.
In the 77th minute Andy Mortimer played a free kick into the box and grant was there again to flick the ball in.
"It was two top teams who played like two top teams." said Sun's Tom Barber.
