It was very much a mixed day for the local sides, although Sun Sports confirmed their recent excellent form with a 1-0 win over Knebworth.
It could have been easier for Sun though, with their forward line having an off day.
"It should have been 7-0 really but we found it hard to get the ball in the net," said Sun's Tom Barber.
The winner did not come until seven minutes from the end. Doug Taylor, who was exceptional in midfield, rounded off a 10 pass move that started deep in the Sun half.
