Striker Mark East, back after a long lay-off through injury, scored twice to help Sun salvage a point at Sandridge.
Promotion chasing Sun  were 2-0 down after only 30 minutes but showed character to bounce back.
"Sandridge are a much better side to the one we beat earlier in the season." said manager Keith Hargreaves.
"We showed patience when we were behind and got our reward."
East scored from the penalty spot in the second half after Andy Vale's flick-on had been handled in the area.
