Sun Postal Sports 2 Met Police Bushey 0                  1995/96                          HCL Prem

Met Police Bushey lost vital ground when they went down 2-0 to Sun Postal while Chipperfield Corinthians fell further off the pace with a 2-1 defeat at leaders Elliott Star.
The Police gave a poor display and had no complaints at the result, leaving spokesman Jim Howard to reflect: "It looks like we are playing for the runners up spot now,"
Sun felt they should have been ahead early on when Jim Harrison beat Police keeper Trevor Turnbull to a long ball and headed it past him and into the net.
The pair subsequently collided and the referee award the Police a free kick.
"It was a woeful decision. Even their players were laughing," said Sun's Tom Barber.
However, Sun went ahead after 24 minutes when Andy Wood unleashed a 25 yard screamer which gave Turnbull no chance.
Harrison hit the post before the interval but, a minute after the break, Phil Walker scored the second with a typical close range finish.
The Police finished the stronger but the game was beyond them by then.
"I thought we played better when they beat us 3-0 earlier in the season." said Barber.
