Bedmond Social 3 Sun Sports 7                            1992/93                                  HCL Prem

Sun Sports fired out a title warning on Saturday with a thumping 7-3 win at Bedmond Social.
John Field slammed in a hat trick from midfield to leave Bedmond shall-shocked.
Add that to goals from fellow midfielders Darren Hardwick and Mark Ash followed by a late brace from Joe Maguire, Bedmond were rarely in it.
"They were far superior, they are a vey good side." admitted Bedmond manager John Cooper.
Sun led 3-0 after only 30 minutes.
And although goals from Glynn Spurr, Alan Bower and Dennis Tracey brought Bedmond back into the game at 5-3, Sun kept pressing forward to run out comfortable winners.
"We have a settled side now," commented Sun spokesman Tom Barber, "which had helped us a lot."

All in all it was a good weekend for Sun as the reserves triumphed 4-1 over Dynamics Reserves.
Goals from Andy Stockinger, Jimmy Harrison, Tony Seabrook and Darren Fisher did the business.
