Sun miss a penalty but start season with a rout

There can be few better ways top start the season than with a sackful of goals.
Sun Sports outgunned the rest of the County League with a 7-0 thrashing of BAC Stevenage, and that after missing a 10th minute penalty.
The spot kick was awarded after a handball on the line by a Stevenage defender.
He was dismissed and Joe Maguire lined up to take the kick.
As he ran up the referee blew the whistle.
Maguire stubbed his shot but the ball crept in.
The referee disallowed the effort because of encroachment by a Sun player and, when Maguire retook the penalty, it was saved.
Maguire was not to be denied though and opened the scoring five minutes later when he snapped up a chance after a fine run by Paddy Gallagher.
A Tony Seabrook solo effort made it 2-0 after 18 minutes but it took until a minute into a third minute into the second half for Sun to add a third.
It was another solo effort, this time from Darren Hardwick.
He was one of four players who all had outstanding debuts, Paddy and Noel Gallagher and Colin McMillan being the others.
Paddy Gallagher scored the fourth from the penalty spot in the 49th minute after being tripped and then substitute Mark Ash headed home Chris Price's cross for the fifth in the 70th minute.
Gallagher scored his second penalty five minutes later after again being brought down.
The rout was completed by Maguire in the 85th minute when he dived to head in Price's cross.
"I'm not sure if they were a bad side or we played particularly well. We did some good stuff in patches," said Sun's Tom Barber.
