Sun Sports 1 Walkern 1 1992/93 HCL Prem
Sun Sports showed an improvement for the first half hour of their clash with Walkern before degenerating back into their bad ways of late.
"We should have won easily," said Sun spokesman Tom Barber.
"We had four one on ones in the first half but failed to score from any of them."
In fact three of those chances failed even to find the target, Jimmy Harrison seeing his shot saved.
Despite Sun ineptitude in front of goal Walkern were rarely a threat themselves but managed to take the lead with their first shot on goal in the 65th minute from the penalty spot.
Sun eventually managed to find the target 15 minutes from time when John Field tucked home Andy Wood's cross.
Sun Sports Reserves defeated Sandridge 2-1 in a fine Reserve Cup game.
Tony Seabrook and Darren Hardwick were the Sun scorers.
