In form Chipperfield Corinthians lifted themselves further up the table while denting Sun Postal's hopes of the runners up spot by beating them 3-2.
It was a game of two distinct halves as Chipperfield raced into a 3-0 lead before the break.
Alan Lowe netted the first before Paul Rastrick finished off good work from Tomy Garratt for the second.
Rastrick then turned provider for Sean Houghton to grab the third.
Back came Sun  in the second half but two goals from Darren Hardwick on his return to the team after a spell in Germany was not enough for a share of the spoils.
"I thought we deserved a point but no more because we were so bad in the first half," said Sun's Tom Barber.
