Sun Sports 1 Kings Langley 4                                 1991/92                                 HCL Prem

Kings Langley grabbed three vital points at fellow title contenders Sun Sports to stay hot on the heels of leaders Hatfield Town.
The defeat means that Sun's chances of taking the title now look slim as the third placed side are now eight points behind leaders Hatfield Town and have played a game more.
It was a powerful second half showing from the visitors that stole the points after Sun went into the break 1-0 to the good.
Joe Maguire sneaked into the box unguarded to head home from six yards.
Sun were then dealt a double blow, however, when Maguire and then midfielder Alan Langdale both limped off the field injured in quick succession.
Club spokesman Tom Barber refused to make this an excuse, however, and commented: "We were well and truly beaten. In the second half they absolutely whacked us. We haven't been playing well recently and this sort of result was always on the cards. There will be changes."
Sun enjoyed most of the play in the first period but the better chances fell to Kings Langley.
Stuart Wibberley rounded the goalkeeper only for the Sun number one to stretch out a hand at the last moment to deny a scoring opportunity, although there as a hint of infringement.
Kings Langley began to apply the pressure in the second period and were level within eight minutes of the restart when Nick Reid volleyed home.
Ten minutes later and they were ahead when after a short corner Alan Grew was on hand to strike in a great effort from 25 yards.
Sun staged a rally to try and get back into the game and forced four corners on the trot, but Kings Langley 'keeper Colin Hunt was equal to anything they could throw at him.
The game exploded back into life in the 78th minute when Steve Howard went on a forward run only to be crudely pulled down by Mark Goodman.
The referee played the advantage rule, however, as Stuart Reid was in the clear to round the keeper and score.
Goodman though, was sent off for the offence.
Sun's misery was complete three minutes form time when, from a drop ball, it was played out to Steve Sapsford who ran on top score a fine goal.
