Bovingdon 1 Sun Sports 1                              1992/93                          Aubrey Cup Semi-Final

The semi final of the Aubrey Cup between Bovingdon and Sun Sports, who are also battling it out for league honours, must be replayed after thee two sides drew 1-1 after extra time.
"I thought we should have won it," commented Sun spokesman Tom Barber, "but their goalkeeper made some tremendous saves."
"It was a very tight game," said Bovingdon's Chris Swann.
"It is still very much a learning process for us."
Sun to weather the final 20 minutes with only 10 men following Noel Gallagher's dismissal for deliberate hand ball inside the penalty area.
Swann cut to the by-line, crossed for Mick Kenny to flick on and Wadmore's goal bound effort was tipped over by Gallagher.
Swann stepped up and coolly dispatched the equaliser from the penalty spot cancelling out mark Ash's opener for Sun just five minutes earlier.
Extra time ensued without further scoring although Tony Franklin had a tremendous opportunity of booking Bovingdon's passage but he sent his header well wide of the target.
The replay will be at Sun tomorrow (Saturday).
