Sun Postal Sports missed out on the chance of silverware when they were beaten 3-1 in extra time by Somersett Ambury in the Herts Senior Trophy semi final.
What was a very bruising encounter appeared to have been settled in the 84th minute when Ambury went ahead.
However, Alan Dunton headed Sun level and took the game to extra time.
That was the end of the road for Sun though, as Somersett won the game with two good strikes.
"We didn't deserve to lose but we didn't really deserve to win either," said Sun's Tom Barber.
