Maguire beats illness as Sun wallop Walkern

Sun Sports kept firmly on course for the premier Division title with a comfortable 4-1 success at Walkern.
Goals from Noel Gallagher and Darren Hardwick gave Sun a 2-1 lead at the break but it was not until the second period when they started to turn on the style.
Sun were all over the Walkern goal but a mixture of good goalkeeping and the woodwork kept them out until the 80th minute when Gallagher banged in the third.
Goal poacher Joe Maguire typified his attitude to the game by playing with a bad stomach bug and was rewarded for his efforts with the fourth five minutes from time.

Daren Fisher and Ian Pepper were both on target for a weakened reserves side that defeated Lucas Sports Reserves 2-1.
