Sun Postal cruised past Welwyn 2-0 thanks to an Andy Wood free kick and a Phil Walker strike.
Two late injuries to Doug Taylor and Alan Langdale forced Sun to reshuffle their team but they coped against a Welwyn side who came to stop Sun playing their game.
Simon Bartley saved a penalty to keep Sun in control.
