Sun Postal drew 2-2 with Chipperfield on Saturday but made a case for taking all three points.
Jim Harrison's 20 yard shot gave Sun the lead after only three minutes, but Chipperfield were 2-1 up by half time, Sean Houghton pouncing on a goalkeeping error for the equaliser before Warren Birch headed in a corner top put them 2-1 up.
Sun had the best of the second half but did not secure a point until Andy Wood converted Alan Langdale's cross in the 86th minute.
"We were all over them in the second half," said Sun's Tom Barber.
