Oxhey Jets are slipping into the mire and were not helped by a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Sun Postal Sports.
Sun do not have a good record at Chilwell Gardens but had the game won by half time, taking a 3-0 lead.
Darren Hardwick headed them in front from a corner and Alan Langdale scored a fine second, taking his time after controlling a through ball.
James Keen volleyed the third from a half cleared corner but Jets prevented a severe beating with an improved second half display.
"We could have had a couple more but they didn't fold in the second half," said Sun's Terry Hows.
Jets' manager George Hodges is likely to wield the axe after this latest setback.
"It was our worst performance for a long time, certain players looked heartless and Sun destroyed us in the first half," said Jet's John Elliott.
