Pre Season Preview                                      1996/97                                       HCL Prem

Sun Postal Sports

Manager : Terry Hows
Players in: Darren Grieves (Evergreen), Richard Galvin (Leavesden Hospital), Greg Manning (Oxhey Jets), Steve White, Lee Pope.
Players out: Andy Wood (London Colney)

Last season in Premier Division: 6th

New manager Terry Hows faces the start of the season without influential midfielder Darren Hardwick, who will be away working in Germany until November.
However, he has strengthened his squad with the capture of young former Evergreen striker Darren Grieves the most notable new signing.
"Darren has impressed me in pre season," said Hows, who may be new to the manager's role but has vast experience having been assistant to Roger Cowan for several seasons.
"We never really got into the title race last season but still finished sixth," said Hows.
"That is disappointing in relation to previous seasons but there bare a lot of sides who would be happy with that."

Prediction: The absence of Hardwick may hamper Sun's start but Hows has signed shrewdly and Grieves has a lot of potential.
If Sun can stay in the hunt early on, they are bound to be up there when it matters.
Will do well to topple Elliott Star though.
