An own goal out of the top drawer helped Sun Postal beat Welwyn 2-0 on Saturday.
Sun dominated the first half and led 1-0 at the break courtesy of a Lee Pope volley.
Their performance in the second half dipped but the three points were made safe, thanks to a Welwyn defender, 15 minutes from time.
Alan Dunton broke, but, thinking he was offside, attempted to flick the ball up.
The Welwyn keeper made a fine save, pushing the ball out, but one of his central defenders, in acres of space, thumped the ball past him and into the net.
