Maguire strike as Sun shine on

A late strike from Sun Sports' veteran leading striker Joe Maguire earned the Herts Senior County Premier Division high flyers three vital points to keep them on course for the championship.
Maguire struck through the gloom four minutes from time in a tight, hard fought contest where a draw perhaps would have been the fairest result.
But the hallmark of al champions is that they have a habit of pulling something out of the bag when they need it most and Saturday's game proved a perfect example.
Had Sun drawn, as seemed likely, Hatfield Town, who were winning 4-0 at Colney Heath, would have deposed Sun at the top of the Premier Division on goal difference.
Once Maguire had stabbed in from close range to poke Sun in front, Bedmond launched a late desperate bid to pull something out of the fire.
Simon Phillips saw his cross plucked out by Sun keeper Stuart Greaves and in the last minute Greg Manning's free kick from just outside the area was deflected over the bar for a corner.
Throughout the game, Sun had struggled to fire on all cylinders.
Andy Stockinger had found himself in fine scoring opportunities on more than one occasion but lacked the finishing chance.
His best chance came in the 25th minute, when latching onto a great through ball from Alan Langdale, he shot straight at the keeper.
A minute later Bedmond had their best chance, John Kelly's swung in cross picked out Noel Gallagher but from eight yards he shot high.
Sun continued to enjoy the better chances in the second period but without ever threatening to overwhelm Bedmond who looked calm and assured in defence.
Anthony Price nearly struck Sun ahead in the 57th minute from close range but home keeper Paddy Ryan did well to block the shot before it got kicked off the line and scrambled away for a corner.
Sun were beginning to up the pace and six minutes later forced a series of corners which Bedmond frantically fended away.
At the other end Gallagher again narrowly headed a corner the wrong side of the post before Maguire tied up the three points in the fast fading light four minutes from time.
