Sun, the team with the best defensive record in the County League, slumped to their fourth defeat of the season - and lost out on the chance to strengthen their position at the top of the Premier Division.
"We were terrible," said full back Tony Spicer, Sun's best chance fell to winger Neil Border who saw his well struck shot hit the underside of the bar when Hadley were leading 1-0.
If that had gone in then Sun might have bucked up, but Hadley scored twice in a ten minute spell during the second half and that was the end for the championship hopefuls.
"It was our worst performance of the season," added Spicer.
