Kevin Hearns, making a return to county soccer after a spell with West Herts League side KB Heating, could well grab a piece of cup glory with Sun.
The talented midfield player helped Sun safely through to the Aubrey Cup semi finals.
Sun were never in any danger of losing the match and two goals in a five minute spell during the second half booked their last four place.
Roger Cowan scored from the penalty spot after full back Dave Lamb had been brought down in the box and then Dave Churchill latched onto a poor back pass to put the result beyond doubt.
Colney Heath pulled one back near the end when defender Richard Dale turned the ball into his own net.
