Sun Sports 2 Tudor Corinthians 3                        1980/81                                  Aubrey Cup

Young Laurie Ryan, plucked from the reserves, scored Tudors' winner with just eight minutes left of this classic Aubrey Cup tie.
With extra time looming, the talented 18 year old finished off a superb Tudor move, crashing the ball past Sun's despairing goalkeeper Gary Day.
That goal brought the curtain down on an excellent tie.
Sun's manager Keith Hargreaves said; "What a game, a great advert for the County League."
Tudors' Terry Simmonds said: "The best match I've seen this season."
Sun, having already given Cockfosters a scare this season in the Herts Intermediate Cup, rocked Tudors back on their heels in the first 20 minutes, "We tore them apart," said Hargreaves.
In that opening spell, Roger Cowan put Sun ahead with a fine header and saw another effort superbly saved by Bob Simmonds in the Tudor goal.
"If we had scored a second, I think we would have buried them," said Hargreaves.
Graham Avis gave Tudors breathing space by equalising ten minutes before half time.
But Sun refused to lie down and were ahead again after 53 minutes when Mark East fired home.
A lesser side might have folded, but Tudors continued to battle and were rewarded when Jackie Camming-Bart made it 2-2 midway through the second half.
Hargreaves said: "We were probably our own worst enemies then, we pressed forward looking to get a result and were caught on the break."
The final word on the game must be left with County League chairman Arthur Spratt who was attending his first match after a serious operation.
He enthused; "What a game to come back to."
