Roger Cowan, back after a month's suspension, scored three goals to lift Sun to the top of Division One.
Cowan's strong front-running was a real boost to Sun's forward line.
However, for the first 25 minutes, Sun did not have it all their own way, and goalkeeper Gary Boarder was called upon to make three excellent saves.
