Championship chasing Sun and Bushey, both looking to play Premier Division football next season, did promotion rivals Bovingdon a favour by sharing the points.
But Rangers manager Martin Trueman said, " I thought we did enough to get two."
With a strong wind in their favour, Sun took a 3-1 lead, Joe Harper heading their third before the interval.
But Bushey, who have lost their last two league games, hit back after the break and Paul Sneddon's goal 15 minutes from time squared the match.
