London Colney 2 Sun Sports 1                          1981/82                               Aubrey Cup Semi Final

Sun players and officials were still fuming long after the final whistle following their Aubrey Cup semi final defeat.
They felt they were denied victory after having a second half penalty turned down.
With the sides level at 1-1 each, Andy Morton broke through, but he was hauled to the ground by a Colney defender and Sun's full back Tony Spicer said: "It was a definite penalty."
However, the referee waved play on and ten minutes later Colney scored the winner.
"I could see no reason why he didn't give it. It was the clearest penalty I've ever seen, " added Spicer.
Sun nearly rescued the game in the closing stages when Roger Cowan went close, his header being cleared off the line.
"That just about summed up our luck," said Spicer.
