Sad Sun in more trouble
Sun Sports FC, desperately trying to improve a record that has labelled them as the "Bad boys of local soccer", were in trouble again on Saturday when they had two men sent off and one booked in their "A" team's John Dickinson West Herts League clash with Warners End.
And to make it even worse for the club one of the men who received his marching orders was "A" team manager Jim Kempster.
Now Kempster must face the wrath of a Sun Sports committee hell bent on improving their club's bad disciplinary record.
He faces possible suspension from the club - as a player and perhaps from his manager's role - as well as league action.
Also in trouble were goalkeeper Mick Deveraux, sent off with Kempster for disputing Warners End's second goal, and centre half Mick Thompson who was booked.
Kempster, five years at Sun, the last two seasons as player/manager, is worried about his position as manager.
"I just hope the committee will consider my side of the story,"
The sendings off came after 61 minutes as Sun players disputed whether a Warners End shot had crossed the line.
After the goal was given Deveraux made his feelings known to the referee and Kempster the linesman - and both were ordered off.
