Sun Sports Reserves beat the weather and Potters Bar on Saturday to move into the semi final of the Herts Intermediate Cup.
Sun won 2-0 on the opposition's artificial surface and the margin could have been greater.
Ian Pepper opened the scoring after 25 minutes and Dean Cripps added another on 65 minutes.
The only blackspot of the match was the injury to Sun's Nicky Barton, who was taken to hospital with a suspected broken jaw.
Sun meet either Hitchin Town Reserves or Bishop's Stortford Swifts at home in the semi final.
