Rookie White misses golden opportunity

Rookie John White was left kicking himself on Saturday after missing a golden opportunity to put Sun Sports right back in the Premier Division title race.
The youngster, called up by manager Doug Davies for the crucial match at Rolls Royce, was left with the goal at his mercy with just a minute remaining - but somehow managed to place the ball wide of the post.
That miss left the match goal-less and both managers agreed that did neither side a lot of good in the chance for the championship.
In the foggy conditions, both sides had their chances to settle the issue, but the chance of the match undoubtedly fell to White.
Sun winger Mark Anderson rounded off one of his typical runs by drawing Rolls goalkeeper Paul O'Reilly and squaring the ball to White.
With the goal begging, the young striker somehow managed to miss the target.
"I thought we should have won. Now we'll just have to work that bit harder," said Sun boss Davies.
