Spicer proves a real knockout and collects a real Sun shiner

Brave Tony Spicer was in the changing room nursing a black eye when he was told that he had scored Sun Sports' winning goal on Saturday.
Spicer, normally a defender but playing up front for the afternoon, headed Sun's winner with about 15 minutes remaining of their Premier Division clash with Evergreen.
He stooped low to nod the ball in to the net but collected a boot in the face at the same time.
"There's very few players that would have even attempted to head the ball," said Sun's boss Graham Legg, "but Spicer's a brave lad, sometimes to brave for his own good."
The stand in striker was helped from the pitch with slight concussion and it was only in the dressing rooms after the game that he realised he had grabbed the winner.
"I thought it had finished up at 1-1 when they asked me," admitted Spicer.
The swelling around his face went down on Sunday but the Sun player was still sporting a "shiner" at work this week.
"I should be alright for Saturday," he smiled.
