Sun revive and keep that record
When Sun Sports found themselves 2-0 down in the first 13 minutes of their home game with Bovingdon on Saturday, their unbeaten Premier Division record over.
But a splendid revival saw Sun score three times in 20 minutes either side of the interval and only relinquish a point to a penalty goal.
For Bovingdon, it was another inexplicable chapter in the story of the season.
They have so far beaten Harpenden Rovers and Royston and now drawn with Sun on three Saturdays to date, yet have been thrashed 5-0 in midweek games with Leggatts Way and Rolls Royce.
An own goal from Ken Littleboy and a well taken effort by Ray Williams put them two up on Saturday, although Sun most of the early football.
Don Keen, Alan Potts and Frankie Warner - all reserve players last season - hit the goals that dragged Sun in front, and Rupert Nickell converted the levelling penalty.
The spot kick was conceded by Keith Saunders - the third he has been involved in in five games - and to add to his sorrow, Saunders was booked for his goalkeeper like save.
