Upset Sun boss makes his point

Sun Sports' boss Doug Davies stormed away from Toms Lane on Saturday after his sides had virtually ended Bedmond's championship bid.
After watching the 2-1 success, Davies said: "That was the most rewarding victory of the season. Several Bedmond players just seem intent on intimidation and I was very glad to beat them."
Davies was unhappy at the treatment of his players, especially Brian Ashby who was sent off along with Bedmond substitute Tony Kelly in the second half.
"We shall be appealing," fumed Davies.
"Their player seemed to lose his head and Brian did not do a thing. It was a crazy situation."
Sun won thanks to an early goal from Martin Ashby, who scored after Bedmond goalkeeper John Gallagher had missed the ball completely, and a brilliant solo effort from striker Mark Anderson.
Bedmond grabbed a consolation goal near the whistle when defender Chris Price put through his own goal but Bedmond boss John Cooper said: "We just didn't take our chances. We had plenty of the game but couldn't put the ball in the net."
