Shock as Rangers power to big win
Bushey Rangers hit an incredible seven goals against one time championship hopefuls Sun Sports and leap frogged out of the relegation places.
It was a staggering result considering Rangers' plight which only goes to underline the fact that every club is going to fight to stay in the Premier Division.
It was Bushey's biggest league win for several seasons and moves them above Leggatts Way and Mount Grace, who both lost.
The rout started as early as the sixth minute when Joe Bates hit the first, and by half way through the second half they were coasting with a six goal lead.
Sun could find no answer to Bushey's hard working midfield trio of Bates, Brian Walker and Terry Birch and this result, once again, see-sawed the clubs around the bottom of the table.
In fact, Bushey's victory was made even more impressive because they were forced to play the last half hour with only ten men.
Rangers' player-manager Roger Birch, ran up to congratulate his brother, Terry, after he had popped in the sixth goal and in so doing, pulled a calf muscle and had to watch the rest of the game from the touchline.
