Cockfosters 1 Sun Sports 0 1987/88 HCL Prem
Sun Sports are currently top of the league, but with their programme finished they have no chance of the title.
On Saturday they lost 1-0 at struggling Cockfosters, giving a performance which disappointed manager Doug Davies.
"They handled the pressure better than we did. We were handicapped by not having Mark Anderson and Terry Price was feeling ill after 15 minutes, and I had to substitute him at half time, " he said.
Davies felt that Sun would have won if they had taken some of their first half chances.
However, he has been pleased with the season overall.
He said, " We ended with a tremendous flourish last year to avoid relegation and at the start of this season we would have settled for a place in the top six.
"We have only lost two matches in 1988, and we should finish third - if Kings Langley lose their last two games we will be second. But we have just lost a bit of consistency."
