A competent all round Sun Sports display gained a 2-1 victory at Colney Heath and strengthened their mid table position.
Sun won through goals in the 43rd and 70th minutes from Mark Williams and Dave O'Reilly.
Williams driving a left foot shot into the top corner.
Heath's reply came in the 85th minute when Paul Foster unluckily deflected a shot into his own net.
"I was pleased with the players. They put in a lot of effort," said Sun manager Dave Males.
"Although we are some way behind the leaders it is early days yet and we are looking to put a run together."
