Sun's Boarder rushed to hospital
Goalkeeper Gary Boarder spent the night in hospital on Saturday after suffering severe concussion during Sun Sports' eventful 1-0 win over Kings Langley.
Boarder was injured just before half time when he dived bravely at the feet of a Langley forward.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance and advised to stay in overnight.
Club spokesman Ted Stewart said, "Gary was badly concussed so they thought it best to keep him in.
He was allowed out on Sunday morning but he must be doubtful for tomorrow."
Before Boarder's injury, Sun had already been reduced to ten men when Dennis Fletcher - who scored the only goal of the game after eight minutes - was sent off for swearing.
Full back Tony Spicer took over in goal and to complete Sun's incredible afternoon Dave Churchill hit a second half penalty way over the bar.
"It just goes to prove that when you're down the bottom, things go against you," said Langley's Derry Edgar.
"It was a disastrous afternoon for Sun, yet they still won."
