Sun slam eight
Without three of their high scoring forward line, Sun Sports travelled to St Margaretsbury determined to avenge the 3-1 home defeat way back in August.
For even without Peter Nelhams, Roy Jones and Graham Seabrook, Sun romped to their biggest victory this season.
They were scarcely missed as John Aldridge marked his debut with a hat trick.
Ray Cole opened the scoring in the seventh minute and tony Evident added another in the 12th before Saints replied after 35 minutes.
It was deadlock after the break until Don Keen slammed home a terrific shot on the hour.
Saints replied immediately with a well taken goal and to complete an amazing two minute period, Aldridge scored for Sun.
This goal signalled the complete collapse of the Saints.
they become disjointed and disorganised as Sun moved in for the kill, Cole and Aldridge putting Sun further ahead.
The game finished sensationally as both Cole and Aldridge collected their hat tricks via the penalty spot.
