Hard work for Sun
Sun Sports made hard work of their Premier Division clash with Bovingdon, before picking up the points which takes them to within striking distance of the championship contenders.
A goal from Sport's prolific marksman Graham Seabrook four minutes from time ended Bovingdon's stubborn resistance.
Seabrook, who had been brought down on the edge of the box, headed Paul Savina's free kick past the hesitant Paul Parkins.
But Sun nearly threw it away two minutes later when they left Ray Williams unmarked in front of goal.
Williams seemed as surprised as anyone at the opportunity and he took too long over his shot and the ball was hacked away.
Sun's cause was not helped by the absence of two of their star men, Ray Cole and Dennis Rayner, who were on duty for the County side.
Manager Tom Barber was full of praise for their reserve replacements, Dave Churchill and Frank Woolner.
