Sun Sports 1 Cockfosters 0                                1984/85                                HCL Prem

Bedmond's victory keeps them in the title hunt and they must have been delighted to hear of leaders Cockfosters losing 1-0 to Sun Sports.
Full backs Tony Spicer and Peter Lawrence were both outstanding as Sun opened up the championship race with a late winner.
Tony Duckett broke through, drew the Cockfosters goalkeeper and squared the ball to Mark East to tap the ball home in the 79th minute.
"We really battled well," said Sun manager Graham Legg, "Both Spicer and Lawrence were superb. I think they must have had a bad Christmas, they were that keyed up!" he joked.
The win was made even more remarkable in that Legg was forced to field third choice striker Nigel East up front and have third team boss Gary Hart as substitute.
