Sun Sports' charge faltered at Rolls Royce.
They were held to a 0-0 draw after goalkeeper Gary Boarder was injured early on.
He suffered a groin strain and was unable to kick the ball out, electing to throw the ball into play instead.
Normally, Sun can rely on Boarder's huge kicks to relieve some pressure at the back, but that tactic was somewhat curtailed on Saturday.
Both sides hit the bar in an often scrappy exchange.
Dough Fowler clattered the woodwork for Rolls and Tony Duckett struck the bar from 30 yards.
Three players were booked: Sun's Tony Evident and Willy Ahearn and Roll's Earl Douglas.
