Sun Sports were denied a penalty in controversial style as they overcame injury and unavailability to beat Cockfosters 1-0 in the Aubrey Cup on Saturday.
With the score at 0-0 after a first half of Sun dominance, Brian Ashby surged clear on the left and crossed for Martin Ashby, who seemed to be fouled.
The referee initially agreed, but reversed his decision to award a penalty after talking to the linesman, who appeared less than well placed.
But Sun, who might well have been two up at half time, did manage a decisive strike after 78 minutes when Brian Ashby's cross found its way home, possibly off a defender.
