Sun Sports, beaten in the semi final last season by eventual winners London Colney, gave a good all round display to beat Tring Town Reserves by a single Dave Churchill headed goal.
Sun, who seem to play better away from the pressure of the league, beat goalkeeper Robin Lumley a second time - through a fine individual effort from Tony Evident - but the effort was mysteriously ruled out by the referee.
Sun goalkeeper Dave Wilson was in commanding form while central defender Graham Seabrook gave one of the best displays of the season.
