Sun had to settle for a point on Saturday, after leading 2-1 for the majority of the second half.
"The referee must have played ten minutes of extra time," fumed Sun boss Graham Legg.
In the added time, Saints grabbed an equaliser from a free kick.
"How could he have played so much extra time I don't know, I thought they scored in about the 97th minute," added Legg.
Earlier, Willy Ahearn and mark East had put Sun in to a 2-1 lead.
