Sun Sports 2 Tudor Corinthians 0 1977/78 HCL Prem
Sun Sports 2-0 win over Tudor Corinthians was marred by the loss of two players with knee injuries.
Barry Smith took a knock after 40 minutes and substitute Steve Seabrook was called as a replacement.
Dave Atkinson had earlier given Sun the lead with a 30 yard stormer.
It was Seabrook who converted number two after 55 minutes following neat wing work by Kevin McKenna, but five minutes later Sun were reduced to ten men when goalkeeper Mick Deveraux twisted his knee after a collision.
It is an injury that could keep him out of action for some time.
Tudors, with Mick Nelmes making his first team debut at full back, failed to pressurise stand in goalkeeper Dennis Fletcher and Sun could have increased their winning margin when Alan Hall was presented with an east chance in the dying moments.
