Mid-table Sun Sports 5-1 victory over fourth placed Park Street was the most stunning result of the day.
Goalkeeper peter Lloyd, returning from holiday, was rushed from Dover in time to play.
In the end, he was not over employed as a Mark Anderson hat trick and further strikes from Tony Farrell and Brian Ashby easily cancelled out Park Street's sole score - an own goal from Chris Price.
But, for Sun manager Dave Males, the success was tinged with regret as his Park Street counterpart Mick Moran is a colleague at Sunday side Verulam Arms.
"I was glad to win the semi-final, but I wish it had not been against Park Street.
Mick plays for me on Sunday  and I was happy but disappointed as well." said Males.
