Sun Sports 5 Sarratt 1                                    1988/89                                HCL Prem

Sarratt are now almost certainly relegated following their 5-1 defeat at Sun Sports.
They led 1-0 at the interval thanks to an Alan Reynolds first half strike, but then disaster struck.
Goalkeeper Carlton Humphries  had to leave the field with a damaged ankle and midfielder Martin Wright had to take over between the sticks.
Mark Wilson and Richard Miller both suffered injuries and manager Mick Warner said, "It unbalanced us to say the least."
Wright, infact, made two great saves to deny Sun, but in the end could do nothing as the Aubrey Cup semi-finalists moved into top gear, hitting five goals.
Dennis Elliott, returning to the side after a spell at South Midland League outfit Pitstone, scored one of Sun's goals, with Martin Ashby adding another couple to complete Sarratt's miserable afternoon.
For Sun boss Dave Males it was a sweet victory as he tries to build a side up for the vital semi-final showdown  with Park Street on April1st.
He has a goalkeeping problem, however.
Young Peter Lloyd is on holiday that day and Males is calling up reserve team keeper Trevor Davis for this Saturday's match with Cockfosters.
"I haven't seen him yet," said Males, "but if he does the business them he will be in for the semi-final."
