Sun suffer a trophy defeat in extra time

Sun Sports must have wished their Herts Senior Centenary Trophy second round tie at home to Sawbridgeworth Town  had been washed away by the weather.
Not only did their supporters suffer the cold agonies of extra time but they also saw their side go down 2-1.
Sun Spokesman Tom Barber said: "They were the better side although we missed a lot of chances."
Martin Ashby gave the home side the lead with a rare header but Sawbridgeworth equalised with 15 minutes of normal time remaining.
They gained the winner 10 minutes into extra time.
Barber added: "To show their were no hard feelings we gave their best player a bottle of champagne on behalf of our sponsors KB Heating."

In Division two of the Reserve Section, Sun Reserves thrashed Sandridge Rovers Reserves 5-0.
John White, Brian White, Dean Cripps, Alan Benjamin and Ian Pepper were the men on target.
