The first day of the season saw a blistering start from Sun Sports who trounced newcomers Stingray Sounders with a nine goal blitz.
Peter Glennister hit the target four times in what was a victory for experience over enthusiasm.
he opened his account as early as the 15th minute, scoring twice in each half.
The other goals came from uphill (two), Linskey (two) and Green.
Sounders, whop ran a six a side team until this season, pulled one back in the 82nd minute through Higgs.
