Sun Sports' boss Keith Hargreaves found the scoring formula on Saturday with Roger Cowans, Tony Evident and Alan Potts outstanding in the 2-1 Aubrey Cup win over Whitwell.
"We've been playing well without scoring - but we got it right this week," said a delighted Hargreaves.
Cowans headed the first - but it still took 11 minutes for Sun to clinch the tie through Tony Spicer after Whitwell had equalised right at the finish of normal time.
With Graham Legg and Andy Morton both suspended, Hargreaves brought in Terry Birch from Barnet Reserves and John Furie, the former Watford and Wealdstone player, from Chesham United.
