Sun Sports 2 Hadley 0                                         1983/84                                      HCL Prem

A tactical substitution by manager Graham Legg paid dividends for Sun Sports.
With their game against Hadley goalless and moving into the final quarter he pulled off Mark East, switched Dean Cripps from midfield to up front and left sub Andy Morton to plug the gap.
And it worked a treat.
Within minutes Cripps had broken the deadlock and with veteran Jimmy Totton "running around like a 16 year old", Sun sewed it up with a second from Tony Duckett near the end.
Legg also had praise for 18 year old Mick Gavey, normally a striker in the reserves, who took over in goal from unavailable Gary Boarder and kept a clean sheet.
